Extracurriculars
Board Game Club 2023 – Present
I help new members learn board games that they are not familiar with. I also have contributed a few board games as new additions to the club. I have learned how to strategize in various instances, including time-limited situations, as well as enduring long battles of wit.
Wrestling 2022 – 2023
I was an athlete in the lightweight division, I was the only one in my weight class. I learned dedication and grit through constant trial and error. I learned to get back up and try harder the next time.
FFA 2021 – 2022
I helped in various community services activities, including a canned food drive, trash clean up, and FFA plant sales. I learned how to serve my community.
Peer Tutoring 2021 – Present
I contribute by grading and filing assignments, as well as helping teach students in a way that is easier for them to understand. I have learned that each student learns in different ways and how I need to be flexible in the way I teach
Community Service 2021 – Present
I contribute my time and efforts when the community needs help. I have learned many new skills, including how to tend to different types of animals, and how to use construction tools properly.
Band – Low Brass Section Leader 2017 – Present
I contribute by being a section leader and help others learn their parts in how to be better musicians. By being in the band, I have learned to be cooperative and it takes everyone for the band to be successful.
